Tesla CEO Elon Musk lashed out at the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, one day after the organization requested that a judge hold him in scorn for supposedly abusing the terms of a settlement made a year ago.
“Something is broken with SEC oversight,” Musk tweeted.
At first, Musk had said Tesla would make “around” 500,000 vehicles in 2019, however then overhauled the tweet hours after the fact.
“Intended to state annualized creation rate at end of 2019 most likely around 500k, ie 10k vehicles/week,” he said. “Conveyances for year still evaluated to be about 400k.”
